Questa Lancia Delta S4 ? stata consegnata dalla Auto Luce di Modena al primo proprietario nel giugno 1987, nel tipico colore rosso scuro metallizzato con interno in Alcantara beige. L?anno seguente l?auto viene rientrata da Auto Luce e riverniciata nell?attuale arancio fluorescente. A luglio 1989 l?auto viene acquistata dal signor G.Z. di Thiene (VI) con circa 3.500 km, che la custodisce gelosamente fino alla fine del 2004. Nel febbraio 2005 la Delta S4 viene esposta al salone di Retromobile a Parigi e venduta al proprietario attuale, che la immatricola a Monaco MC.
Negli anni seguenti la vettura viene usata molto raramente; infatti oggi il contachilometri segna soltanto 8.650 km, compatibili con l?ottimo stato degli interni: il sedile del guidatore, il volante e la tappezzeria mostrano pochissimi segni di usura. Dal punto di vista meccanico la vettura ? perfettamente funzionante, anche se necessita di un tagliando completo per essere utilizzata al pieno delle sue potenzialit?.
This Delta S4 was delivered new in June 1987 by Auto Luce in Modena to the first owner in the usual dark red metallic. After one year Auto Luce bought it back and had it repainted in the actual fluo orange livery. In July 1989 the car was bought by Mr Z. from Thiene ? Vicenza ? with around 3.500 km on the odometer; he jealously kept it for over 15 years. In February 2005 the car was on display at Retromobile in Brussels and bought by the actual owner, who had it immediately registered in Monaco MC.
The actual owner drove it very seldom, in fact either the driver?s seat, either the steering wheel and the carpets show few signs of use and the odometer reading is about 8.650 km. On the mechanical side, engine and gearbox run perfectly, even if a major service would be needed to appreciate all the potential of this rally icon.
